ArgosArgos have issued the Christmas Gift Guide Catalogue.
The Catalogue includes reductions on varying products from pool tables to play stations. There are some Christmas decorations on sale including a 2 foot animated Santa, snowman lights and a revolving table top fibre-optic tree.
Christmas Gift Ideas from Argos include mini-retro fridges, hair curlers and an entire collection of Simpsons toys ranging from a Simpsons inflatable sofa to a Barney Bottle opener. Some of the top toys on offer include a Scalextric, Action Man, Baby Anabel and an Electric Scooter.
Argos is a catalogue based retailer and stocks a staggering variety of products. Items include photography, household appliances, homeware, all types of entertainment
jewellery, toys, games, cd's dvd's, furniture and even office equipment.
The eight branches are located in the Stephens Green Centre, the Jervis Street Centre, the Nutgrove Centre, the Ilac Centre, the Square in Tallaght, the Blanchardstown Centre, the Bloomfield Centre in Dun Laoghaire and the Pavilions in Swords.
You look up the catalogue, pick the items you want and then punch in the codes to see if they're currently in stock. It'd be unusual if they didn't have whatever's in the catalogue there on site, especially in the bigger branches like Jervis Street and Stephens Green.
The prices are highly competitive and you can get great bargains in everything from furniture to electrical equipment, from sporting goods to clothes and from toys to household utensils. There are great deals on cameras, computers, toys & games, jewellery and watches and DIY hardware. Many of the low prices at Argos are down to their method of direct importing from suppliers through their own channels and cutting out the middlemen.
Two editions of the catalogue are printed each year, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. Also there's the Additions catalogue specialising in fashion. Waiting for your item to come down the conveyor-belt is like being at a luggage carousel, only much faster and they won't lose your stuff! Watch out though, this can get addictive, as once you start leafing through the catalogue, you might find yourself circling a little bit more than your groaning bank balance could withstand!
