Par will be the final guest appearing at WAX as Rubberband will bid farewell to the venue in three weeks time.

After a serious performance for us in Andrews lane we are delighted to welcome one of Technos most respected producers back for whats sure to be another memorable night for RUBBERBAND! Par Grindvik returns this Saturday March 28th to serve up even more of his fresh innovative new techno sound and will play a 2 hour set for us. He stole the show last time around, and is sure to rock the place to the core once again this time!

Par will be our final guest appearing at WAX as Rubberband will bid farewell to the venue in three weeks time. After nearly 8 months and more than ten international guests as well as a whole host of local talent, Rubberband will take a summer break from our regular night out to concentrate on the various festivals and other club dates we have been asked to get involved with this year. We have had a good run in WAX and have enjoyed our time there, we hope to be back in a fresh new venue sometime throughout the summer to continue promoting our parties that have already been responsible for some very memorable nights in Dublin. In our place, Spy Saturday chart night Gossip will now be an AAA areas event with more emphasis on dance music in the basement. Many thanks to all who have supported us in WAX, we really hope to see you down for our final few nights starting this week with the main man and technos finest Par Grindvik.

Pär Grindvik or his pseudonym The Hollow has been a core person of the Swedish electronic scene since the nineties as record store-owner (Illegal Stockholm), label manager and producer. He is a well established artist and after many years of touring and releases on big name labels like Drumcode, Spectral Sound and his own label Stockholm LTD, which he created and founded in 2002, he is now based in Berlin, Germany.

Stockholm LTD began as an outlet for singles and EPs from Swedish electronic artists with a focus on releasing timeless electronic music. Nowadays it's much more, as each release tells its own story. Every inch of Pär’s work, including the label, artwork, release info and music, is wrapped with heart and emotion, which keeps the sparkle and curiosity alive within the ever changing adaptations of the artistic world.

Thus, Pär Grindvik is one of the most promising names around today and one of the most respected producers out there!
