Hotly tipped, Belfast based techno group PSYCATRON roll into Pentagon to kick off proceedings for what will be a spectacular live AV set. 2009 was a huge year for the duo with a string of high profile productions released on some of the world's most respected dance labels. Having spent the past seven years hosting their residency at the world-famous Shine and the Stiff Kitten, 2010 will be the year where PSYCATRON's winning combination of killer DJ sets and live AV shows will see them emerge as one of the biggest Irish dance acts of the year. Rockeroke will be keeping spirits high in Crawdaddy with their unique take on live entertainment. Rockeroke combines the best of a big live band with fantastic audience participation.
Apart from a high quality and very experienced full band, including backing singers, the audience members can perform live on stage with the lyrics on the big screen. What is unique about Rockeroke is that the lyrics play like karaoke in time with the band and can be seen on the big screen and on stage monitors. The band have a repertoire of over a 100 tracks to choose from. David De Valera exemplifies a new generation of Irish DJs. Operating in the same house/techno scene as his international peers, De Valera's style incorporates a mix of pumping house and party techno. His unique style and intuitiveness behind the decks caught the attention of Sander Van Doorn. Sick of mundane, stale warm up DJs, Doorn specifically requested David to support him on the Irish leg of his 'Dusk Til Doorn' tour.
supersuperdisco is Dublin's newest electroindiepoptrash night for boys, girls and everyone else. Come dance like a robot/punk/ballerina/idiot to everything from Amanda Blank, Le Tigre, Major Lazer, Ladyhawke, Peaches, Crystal Castles, The Knife, Salt n Pepa, Ebony Bones, Black Kids, Simian Mobile Disco, Justice, Cut Copy, Chromeo, La Bionda, Madonna, Hercules & Love Affair, David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, LCD Soundsystem, M83, EMF, Kate Bush, Crystal Waters, BeyoncĂ©, RoisĂn Murphy, The Cure, Talking Heads, New Order and loads more. Rob Le Nan is as comfortable playing a funky house and disco set as playing indie,nu wave or electro. Rob has a relentless passion for quality new and old music and likes to amaze the crowd with his energy, eclestic taste and great technical abilty as a DJ. Rob has been holding successful residencies throughout dublin for the last 5 years and never fails to create a party atmosphere. Spain's Danny Alonso has been DJ'ing in Dublin now for 5 years.
