Ashfield Guesthouse with free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking is located in Dublin's green and charming Ranelagh area, within walking distance of the RDS, UCD College and only ten minute bus or car ride to the city centre (Grafton Street). Our rooms range from single, double and triple rooms to large family rooms, with free wireless internet. We provide continental breakfast. If you stay here you can expect a multilingual, young and easy-going staff to serve you.

Directions

If you are coming from the airport, we recommend you to take the Aircoach Bus (8 Euros) and stop in Donnybrook, Rugby Stadium, cross the road, walk 5 minutes along Eglinton Road, turn left at the end (traffic lights), we are the third house on the left.

You can also take nr 41 or 16A to OConnell Street (2.20 Euros), then switch to 11, 11A or 11B, they stop right in front of our Guesthouse! (1.60 Euros). Journey time 1-1.30h, depending on the traffic.

Taxi costs 25-35 Euros, depending on the number of passengers, and the traffic. Best option for four or more people. In Dublin there are 5, 6, 7 or 8 seater taxies in operation, although not as frequently as regular size taxies.

Car:
Follow the signs to the city centre, reach O'Connell Street, cross the river, drive on Dame Street, turn left on George's Street, keep driving straight for about 2 km (the street name is changing to Amiens, then Camden street). Reach the Canal, turn left immediately, drive along the canal for a little bit, turn right on Ranelagh Road, drive straight through Ranelagh Village and on to Sandford road. You will pass an Esso garage on your left hand side and you will then pass through the junction of Eglington Road and Milltown Road. You are now on Clonskeagh Road and we are in the first building on the left, the 3rd house in the building.
