Ashfield house has been welcoming international visitors since 1995, however the building has been welcoming visitors since its construction in 1832. The present building went through various stages of occupation from a hotel to an army and navy store, a restaurant and then a church until 1995 when the building was converted into its present form. The friendly, experienced staff at Ashfield House is on hand to offer you all the advice you would need during your stay with us - we look forward to accommodating you! Ask the driver to let you know when you are in OConnell Street, cross to the south side of OConnell Bridge, walk towards Trinity College, keeping on the left-hand side of the street. Ashfield House is about 50 meters/yards up on the left hand side. Services: 05h45 23h30 at 10/20 minute intervals; 6 single, 3 for u-16s.
Aircoach Get off at O'Connell St. Route 16A / 41, 41A, 41B, 41C Get off at Upper OConnell Street (16A) or Eden Quay (41), cross O'Connell Bridge as above. Mon Sat: 06h50 23h10, Sunday: 07h40 23h15, approx every 20 minutes / 2.20. Taxi: approx 30.
* From Connolly Train Station or Busaras (Central Bus Station) If you are travelling from Busaras or Connolly Station, you can walk to our hostel (about 10 minutes walk). On Foot: Exiting Connolly to Amiens Street you will see Busaras. Head southwest on Frenchman's Lane, turn left at Lwr Gardiner Street. Slight right at Beresford Place ( the beautiful Custom House is on your left hand side). Cross the bridge, turn right, continue along the quays towards OConnell Bridge. Turn left at D'Olier Street, we are on your left. By Bus: Take the 151 or 128 Taxi: approx 7 * From Heuston Station By Tram (LUAS): Get off at Abbey St Luas Stop. Then walk back a minute to find OConnell Street. Taxi: approx 15
