UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT FROM 15 JUNE 2009! Even though Blessington Hostel is opened only since spring 2006, it belongs among highly rated and prestigious hostels in Dublin centre. Its biggest advantage is central location with easy access to all tourist attractions. Hostel is very close to Central Bus Station (Busaras), Connolly Station (Dart and Rail) and Heuston Rail Station for trips outside Dublin. And there are direct lines to Dublin Airport too. Reception is 24/7, so there is no curfew and you have lots of time to explore Dublin. Our staffs are young, friendly, helpful and will do their best to assist you with any information you need. Facilities we offer: - Hostel is open all year long - 24-hour reception - Information maps, bus and train timetables, list of recruitment agencies - Business services scanning, duplicating, printing - Internet connection - 11 rooms with own shower and toilet - Bed linens included - Kitchen with all appliances and dishes - Common room with TV and table hockey - Smoking area - Space for bikes - Laundry washing machine, dryer, iron - Lockers Please note: We do not accept bookings for 10 or more people. Any such bookings will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded. For all group bookings please give us a call or ask at reception as well as for long term stay - more than 7 nights. Directions

Road:
Bus Eireann (Countrywide services to Dublin) - Get off at O'Connell Street Bridge and walk the length of O'Connell Street and keep walking straight onto Parnell Square, North Frederick Street and then onto Blessington Street. You will see us on your right.

From Dublin Airport:
The cheapest and best way to get here is on the 16A, 41 or 746 buses from the airport. It will drop you very close the hostel and costs 2.20. Make sure you have exact change as none is given on the bus. Ask the driver to drop you on Dorset Street (North Frederick Street) just opposite the Mr. Macs Red and White Barber shop, or just before the Mayes Pub 'Guinness Time, Clock'. Cross over to Mr. Mac's, Barber Shop and walk up the left of this shop - Blessington Street. Just walk straight few meters and you will see us on your right.

There is an express Air coach (7) or Air link 747 (6) that will drop you on O'Connell Street. Walk the length of O'Connell Street (opposite direction than O'Connell Bridge) and keep walking straight onto Parnell Square, North Frederick Street and then onto Blessington Street. You will see us on your right.

Taxis from the airport cost around 20 and take about 20 minutes depending on the time of day and traffic.

From Bus Station (Busaras) and Connolly Station:
Follow the tramline west toward OConnell Street. Walk the length of O'Connell Street (opposite direction than O'Connell Bridge) and keep walking straight onto Parnell Square, North Frederick Street and then onto Blessington Street. You will see us on your right.

From Heuston Rail Station:
Get on the Luas red line direction Connolly Station and get off on stop Abbey Street. Follow the tramline west toward OConnell Street. Walk the length of O'Connell Street (opposite direction than O'Connell Bridge) and keep walking straight onto Parnell Square, North Frederick Street and then onto Blessington Street. You will see us on your right.
