Cassidys
Cassidys a busy traditional bar on Camden Street.
Camden Street has become a very trendy spot in the last number of years with a majority of its bars experiencing major overhaul or rebranding. At the top of the street is one of the few pubs that have managed to retain its original identity and its name is Cassidys.
Cassidys is a traditional bar that fills the criteria of doing what it says on the side of tin, it has a welcoming uncomplicated design, comfortable seating and a great selection of beers. That is to say, you go to Cassidy for nothing else but drink, chat and a bit of craic, not to check out the décor, the DJ or the in crowd.
Although most traditional bars come under the cosy boozers catergory, Cassidy's packs a crowd in at the week and can get quite boisterous in very cheerful way. But if you get in early you can get a few seats and relax, the bar and the staff make sure your get your drinks as quickly as possible, you can sit back and relax.
You might even bump into their most famous punter, some guy called Bill Clinton who called in back in the 1990s for a few swift ones. For an uncomplicated night out in the city, check out Cassidys on Camden Street.
