Mahon's is the ideal setting for your family holiday, business trip or even the break of a lifetime. Over the years the hotel has built a reputation for their mini-weekend breaks, which are excellent value. On weekends - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - you can enjoy live music from local bands in the bar/lounge area. The function room is capable of seating up to 300 hundred guests for a banquet and is an ideal setting for social gatherings, weddings, dinner dances, parties and fashion shows The Erne Suite is ideal for your conference or boardroom meeting or private party. It can accommodate: 30 delegates theatre style; 15 delegates classroom style; or 20 delegates boardroom. The Delany Suite accommodates: 200 delegates theatre style; 100 delegates classroom style; or 80 delegates boardroom.

Room information

All bedrooms are en suite and equipped with all common facilities. A range of room sizes to facilitate couples and families are available. All room rates quoted are based on the Mahon original standard. Upgrades to the new deluxe wing are subject to availability and include a surcharge per person per night, Monday to Sunday inclusive.

Food & beverage

The hotel’s cuisine is recognised throughout Ireland. 64 NVQ awards to the dedicated kitchen staff bear testament to this. Whether it’s a bar meal or dinner from the extensive à la Carte menu, the kitchen prides themselves on the level of service and hospitality they offer. All food is home-cooked and, with the completion of the new restaurant in May, they are able to accommodate up to 200 people.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 5.00 per 24 hours.
