This Easter Sunday, prepare for a devilishly good at the Village on Wexford Street, courtesy of the legendary ROCK + ROLL RESCUE SQUAD's fantastic Bank Holiday Double-Header!

 

If you're in the mood for dancing the night away to some seriously cool tune - head upstairs to The Village Nightclub for Strictly Handbag, where the amazing Wendy James (of Transvision Vamp and Rancine) will be making her Irish DJ debut, with support from Handbag resident Eamonn Barrett! Expect '80s music with words for your dancing pleasure from him, and New York proto-punk and new-wave, rock-a-billy, old-skool hip hop, ska and soul from her!

 

And if you prefer your dancing to come with a side-order of singing, the check out the bar downstairs for the usual Sunday night mayhem on the Songs of Praise Stage, with your host Sister Barbra and tunes from Rory Montane. It's the Bank Holiday party you've been praying for.
