Conceived as a refreshing break for anyone who's heard the phrase "And next ... oh, we've got a woman for you now" once too often,The Lippy Laffs is a brilliant new open-mic night, designed to showcase the finest female comedians around - and give aspiring funnygals the chance to grab the mike and split some sides themselves!
From mistresses of madcap to sisters of surrealism and girly gigglers to ladette laughter louts, The Lippy Laffs is guaranteed to bejam-packed wise-cracking women who wanna shared their warped world view with you!
The night operates on the "Old School" open-mic system (first come, first served) so if you want to give it a shot yourself, simply show up on the night and give your name at the door!
And while the stage might be a bloke-free zone, bearers of the Y-chromosome are still more than welcome in the audience! So if you're look for a night of top-class comedy minus the usual "my girlfriend ... " rants* - check out The Lippy Laffs once a month at Comedy Dublin in Sheehan's pub!
