Located near the river, Jack Nealons of Capel Street was renovated a couple of years ago.
Rather than rebuild the aul' pub it used to be or change it into a slick trendy bar, Nealon's opted for a subdued, but updated alternative. The downstairs has a comfortable, near-traditional feel to it, with a mixed crowd, while the lounge upstairs is more modern, but with armchairs, and a fire in the corner. Great service, very comfortable and surprisingly laid back for a modernised bar.Nealons
