Bleu Note, Dublin's new late night Jazz and Blues live music venue, has just opened on Capel Street.
Over the last few years the Dublin Jazz scene has experienced a renaissance with a host of exciting club nights, the emergence of a new generation of talented Irish jazz musicians, a constant stream of jazz legends visiting the capitol and an exciting new venue, Bleu Note.
Bleu Note takes its inspiration from the legendary jazz clubs of New York, Soho and New Orleans with a very intimate atmosphere of low lighting and candles to complement a heady brew of Jazz, Blues, Funk and Soul that will take you well past the midnight hour.
The Bleu Note basement caters for lovers of Jazz, Friday and Saturday night from 10pm to 2.30am, bringing you the very best of Dublin's Jazz talents and international jazz names in an intimate club atmosphere, with admission of €8 or €6 with concession or VIP card from 11pm.
Upstairs at the Bleu Note features a rotation of Blues, Funk and Soul bands nightly from 8.30pm until late from Thursday to Sunday with admission free every night. The Bleu Note will also organise Stand Up, Comedy, Burlesque and Cabaret Acts, Latin and Salsa nights, specialist film clubs and a nights for private or corporate hire.
