The Temple Bar
The Temple Bar, for the best Dublin pub culture has to offer.

Probably the bar that gained the most out of the redevelopment of Temple Bar, the pub with the same name The Temple Bar has grown ever more popular over the last decade. Situated on a corner of two cobbled streets, you can't miss this old time bar with its bright red walls filled with old Guinness signs and drinking paraphernalia.

As you enter the bar, you'll find an old Tobacco sign over the door and inside you will find the décor of a classic Dublin boozer with bottles of spirits stacked to the ceiling. The Temple Bar was recently refurbished and extended to create the feel of a more modern bar with a beer garden out the back for a relaxing summer day's drink.

The Temple Bar is always busy frequented by a booming tourist trade, a loyal band of Dublin locals and the walk-in trade from Dublin's buzzing weekend nightlife. The service is excellent with orders taken quickly and drinks delivered quickly and the friendly staff make The Temple Bar one of the most welcoming bars in the city. The Temple Bar hosts impromptu trad sessions every day with some of the city's finest musicians showcasing their talents and also does a very fine trade in pub food.

A pub that seems to capture the kind of punter who is glad to be in Dublin and wants to share the experience with other liked minded people, The Temple Bar is the pub for a great night of fun and drinking in Dublin.
