This October, celebrate the fine German tradition of great beer and tasty food with the fantastic Porterhouse Oktoberfest Celebrations from 9th - 19th October!

Taking place at all five Porterhouse Bars around Ireland and the UK,  the festival promises a fantastic tribute the German festival, with specially imported draught and bottled beers from all regions of Germany. There'll also be delicious German-themed food available as daily specials to complement these unique beers - all served by staff donning traditional lederhosen costumes.

Throughout the festival, customers will also be treated to some fantastic and fun some fantastic Oktoberfest events - including live German music, stein holding, frankfurter tossing, beer sampling and yodeling.

And the beer boffins at the Porterhouse have even brewed up a ver special NEW beer - Alt Beer - especially for the the festival. Taking its name from the German word for "old", Alt Beer is a cool fermented, lagered ale brewed using the older top fermenting method. Created with the complexity of an ale and the refinement of a German Lager,  this fantastic ALT-ernative (sorry!) to traditional German Beers, has an ABV of 4.6 %. A pint of this innovative new tipple will set you back a mere €4.60 - ENJOY!
