South Dublin is soon to become home to Dublin's newest hotspot, when Blu Bar opens opposite The Square in Tallaght on the 30th of June.
The Blu Bar caters for all your needs with a contemporary bar for a beer and a chat, plasma screens to watch all your favourite sporting events, a restaurant for a bite to eat, an outdoor area to relax in the sunny evenings, a Mezz Bar for all your party needs and weekend Club nights to dance the night away.
You can relax in a stylish, spacious and contemporary bar area on the ground floor featuring trendy décor with plush leather couch seating and funky lighting.
Sports fans can soak up the atmosphere of all the big soccer, rugby or GAA games on one of the 10 large plasma screens located in four separate areas of the lounge, allowing guests to watch a different sport in each area without interruption.
Two main doors from the bar lead to a large outdoor area, the perfect spot to meet your friends and enjoy an ice-cool drink during those lazy summer evenings.
The restaurant area of the bar offers a mouth-watering selection food created by Executive Head Chef Resham Juthan, who is qualified in Cordon Bleu, Nouvelle Cuisine and Oriental cooking.
The Mezz Bar area on the second floor is designed to cater for corporate functions or private parties. Overlooking the main bar area, the Mezz Bar is effectively a courtyard with high glass windows, allowing guest to experience the outdoors from indoors.
By purchasing a bottle of spirits, you and your friends can have a table in the Mezz Bar to yourselves for the night, soaking up the atmosphere in the sleek stylish surroundings.
Friday and Saturday nights are club nights, featuring top-class DJs. AfterDark @ BluBar on a Friday showcases the talents of DJ Ivana Cavolla spinning all the best RnB, House and Funk. Every Saturday, DJ Davey Kaye's Back to Love will be pumping out a mixture of Funky House, Hangbag & Old School Hardcore.
Later on in the year, a separate nightclub area will be located in the basement area, bringing glamour and top tunes to those midwinter nights. Patrons will have access to all areas, moving between the different DJ's and acts featured in the nightclub and the main bar area.
