For nearly 14 years, Strictly Handbag has brightening up the week with their 80’s-inspired nights of perfect, stylish pop at clubs around Dublin!

Not afraid to be a quirky disco fish in a sea of ‘cooler’ club fish (or something) each night sees has hundreds of Handbag devotees turning up the clubs fantastically retro (and retro-inspired) mix of music with words for your dancing pleasure!

For, some this music was the soundtrack to their youth. For others, it's a huge back-catalogue of hits they’ve just discovered, Either way, Strictly Handbag's policy of mixing the finest 80's tunes with some recent releases ensures a packed dance floor

And now the club's got a brand new home for Saturday Nights in one of south county Dublin's longest established and most respected venues, The Loft at The Purty Kitchen. Having recently received a massive make over including the addition of a superb heated smoking terrace, The Loft is an informal but immaculate venue with prompt, friendly service and a warm, chilled out atmosphere.
 
Handbag's residents DJs Mark Kelly and Rory Montane will be on hand as always to keep the dance floor rocking - and if you fancy taking it down a notch, you can always slip out to the terrace to enjoy one of the Purty Kitchen's famously tasty cocktails.
