Eamonn Dorans is a live venue downstairs and also hosts a friendly bar upstairs. The venue downstairs was once the Rock Garden, one of the hottest music spots in the capital in the mid '90s featuring a big stage and cavernous spots for more intimate conversation.

 

Dermot Doran took over the venue a few years ago and sticking with the funky, metallic design for the venue downstairs while refurbishing the upstairs space into a very popular watering hole in the Temple Bar area. 

 

With music seven nights a week, Eamonn Dorans has been come one of the places to catch up and coming bands in Dublin like Republic of Loose, The Things and Noise Control plying their wares.

 

The bar upstairs is a friendly local in Temple Bar which pulls a fascinating cross section of punter with seasoned Dubs, colourful students, fashionable clubbers and tourists all imbibing a pint in a relaxed atmosphere.
