In May 2006, the Mill Theatre opened its doors for the first time.  Situated in the very heart of the new Dundrum Town Centre, this state-of-the-art building not only hosts performances from professional theatre companies, but also provides a venue for local community entertainment (and with five local theatre groups in Dundrum, there's no shortage of local talent). 

The Theatre provides a wide and varied program of events to suit all tastes. Aside from theatrical performances, the venue also hosts a drama school, a dance school and even a class where babies can to learn musical instruments (which is not only adorable - it also aids in the babies the development and coordination)! There's also a beautiful gallery space where new works from Irish and International Artists are showcased on a regular basis.

The Mill Theatre was opened with the aim of helping to fulfil people's love for the arts and all realms of live entertainment and, judging by ticket sales, they're doing a great job of it. If you haven't already visited The Mill Theatre, now's the perfect time to do so.
