Comedy Dublin host hilarious nights of Stand-Up and Improv high jinx on Sundays in The Belvedere, Dublin 1 and on Tuesdays in Sheehans Bar, Dublin 2
An established comedy troupe with an ever-evolving line-up, ComedyDublin have been going strong for four years with hilarious nights of Stand-Up and Improv high jinx on Sundays at the Belvedere Bar, Dublin 1 and on Tuesdays at Sheehans, Dublin 2.
It all began four years ago, when a group of professional comedians met in the back room of a local drinking emporium with one goal in mind, to make people laugh. Taking their inspiration each week from the audience, the laughter followed suit.
ComedyDublin's comedians include Margo Carr, Michael Connolly, Conal Carr, Ben Musgrave,Gaby O'Reilly, Mark Hanratty, Megan Day and special guests began knocking out two evenings of entertainment a week that you couldn't beat with a stick.
ComedyDublin also organise stand up shows every month showcasing emerging or established stand-up comedians. Now with almost four years under their belts, ComedyDublin continue to have audience rolling in the aisles with their comedy prowess.
In recent times they've been delighted to have welcomed comedians from all over the world, including America, the UK and all over Ireland.
They have had great success with performances in every Bulmer's International Comedy Festival, where more than 500 people filled the seats and laughed exactly every 90 seconds according to ComedyDublin's licensed laughologists!
With ComedyDublin a favourite in the Dublin comedy calendar and finding a host of fans beyond the capital, who knows what the future holds for the merry troupe.
They are also on their way to the 2008 Edinburgh Festival and are absolutely delighted!
