The Craic Pack bring their zany mix of games, stories and hilarious characters to The Bankers every Friday night.
If you like Who's Line Is It Anyway you will love The Craic Pack. Using the suggestions from the audience this totally improvised show is a rollercoaster ride of games and stories with games, accent and character from around the world and beyond.
The group, which has tickled audiences at The Bankers pub on Dame Street as Improv@The Bankers since 2002, celebrated their 150th show at the festival with a name change to The Craic Pack, a moved designed to broaden their appeal beyond the Dame Street hostelry where they first began.
The seven-person ensemble group take their queues from the audience, with Northern Irish MC, Stephen Faloon, tasking his on-stage cohorts like Peter Byrne, Sharon Mannion, Danny Keogh, Sean McNally, Rachel Rath, Dermot Byrne and Niamh Shaw to act out even the most obscure of suggestions, including the challenge of interpreting a turnip at a wedding.
Spotted by a US talent scout earlier this year, The Craic Pack were invited to perform at the Newport Comedy Festival in Rhode Island earlier this month. The Pack got such a positive reaction that they have been invited back next year for more fun and frolics.
The Craic Pack also featured in last years Bulmers International Comedy Festival with a number of uproarious performances that had Dublin comedy fans rolling in the aisles.
The Banker Bar also plays host to Stand Up at The Bankers on Saturday night with the best of Irish and International comedy including such talented comedians as Kevin Gildea, Brendan Burke and Maeve Higgins.
A night of hilarious high jinks, The Craic Pack Comedy Improv takes place at The Bankers every Friday night.
