After a sell out run in Vicar Street (culminating in a giant tent in Cork) the lengthy and fruitless search for a Desperate Housewife came to a end. But Ireland's bitterest bachelors are undeterred. They're gearing up to return to Vicar Street in April 2008 with a brand new scandalous show, and demand for tickets has been huge. In fact, they've already sold out of tickets for April, so they're sticking around for a few days in May too - tickets for those dates are on sale now!

Ballydung boyos will be setting up home in Vicar Street once again, just as soon as they finish up Series Three of their top rated RTE 2 show  - and it's fair to say the gruesome twosome are more than a little excited about the prospect. Rodge promises the new show: "will combine the worst of reality TV with the best of  Ballydung; including musical numbers, compulsory audience participation, a live operation, the summoning of the Dark Lord and  at least two nude scenes involving primates" which sound just smashing doesn't it?

Meanwhile, Podge admits the show will undoubtedly be: "just too much for some people ... But for the true fans, it's going to be live, dangerous  and sexy!"

And besides, as the disgusting duo are quick to point out: "there's feck all else to do in April anyway"!

So there you have it! The new Podge and Rodge stageshow - guaranteed Irish, and guaranteed to offend!
