After a series of mesmerising performances at this year's Carlsberg Comedy Carnival, Reginald D Hunter is returning to Dublin this October, for a knock-out solo show at The Sugar club!

 

The Georgian Giant, who decamped to London eight years ago to study at RADA, kick-off his comedy career after a mate dared him to perform at an open slot.

 

Since then, he's become a regular on the stand-up and festival circuit - performing in venues as far-flung as Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Africa and Scotland!

 

His debut at the Edinburgh Festival in 2002 won him a nomination for the Perrier Award - an award he's since been nominated for twice more! He's also become a TV regular, with appearances on The 11 O'Clock Show (Ch 4),  Drinking Britain Dry (Ch 4) and Comedy Store Stand-up (Ch 5) amongst others.

 

His friendly, laid-back presentation and super-sharp, non-conformist attitudes to just about everything makes Hunter a joy to listen too - and as thought-provoking as he is hilarious!
