The Laughter Lounge first opened its door in 1997, and quickly has established itself as Ireland's top comedy venue - presenting some of the biggest names in Irish and international stand-up three nights a week, with a different line-up every week.
Between 2003 - 2006, it temporarily closed its doors again as it underwent a massive make-over - transforming the former cinema in a luxurious and spacious auditorium with two bars, a VIP room and a state of the art lighting and sound system (including fixed cameras feeding footage to eight multi-media projectors, and four plasma screens).
Now a top venue for nights out in Dublin, The Laughter Lounge also boasts a fantastic pre-show 3-course Meal Deal for just €65 (including admission to the club), as well as offering a free cocktail to those there before 19.30, and free admission the brilliant Laughter Lounge "After Lounge" (with resident DJ and late bars) for everyone in the audience!
