Come to Dublin as part of the Celebrity Concert Series with a performance in the National Concert Hall on Wednesday, the 18th of May.
Violinist Tasmin Little and pianist, Wayne Marshall join forces for a concert that will combine jazz and classical works with music by Bach, Grieg, Prokofiev, Cole Porter and Gershwin.
A former student of Yehudi Menuhin, Tasmin Little is regarded as one of the world's leading violinists. Little has performed with many of the world's greatest orchestra's, including the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland, Berlin Philharmonic, Berlin Symphony and the London Symphony.
Tasmin Little has performed under the baton of Masur, Rattle, Ashkenazy, Slatkin, Andrew Davis and Sir Roger Norrington. Little plays a 1757 Guadagnini violin and also performs with a 'Regent' Stradivarius on loan from the Royal Academy of Music.
Wayne Marshall has established a universal reputation as a pianist and is also in great demand as a conductor, organist and duo recitalist. As a solo pianist, Marshall's repertoire ranges from the complete works of Gershwin for piano and orchestra to works by Ravel, Stravinsky and Bernstein.
An enchanting night of jazz and classical works, Tasmin Little and Wayne Marshall play the National Concert Hall on the 18th.
