Neil and Tim Finn have crafted a collection of classic songs with Crowded House, Split Enz and as solo artists. On the 20^th of June, they come to capitol and combine their talents, showcasing songs from their most recent album, Everyone is Here.

Neil and Tim Finn began singing together and making music at a very young age in Te Awamutu in New Zealand. As they grew older their music careers intertwined with Tim enlisting Neil into the line-up of Split Enz and Neil bringing Tim into the Crowded House fold. But it was not until the late '80s that the two brothers sat down and began to write songs together.

Although the songs were meant for a Finn Brothers side project, most of that material ended up on Crowded House's Woodface and Together Alone and Tim's solo album, Before & After. The brothers joined forces again in 1994 on the West Coast of New Zealand to record a new collaboration simply titled, Finn. Finn showed a much more relaxed side to Neil and Tim with the brothers playing a broad range of instruments on a wonderful collection of songs.

A decade later saw the release of Neil and Tim's follow-up album, Everyone is Here. In that decade both brothers have recorded two solo albums and suffered the passing of their mother, Mary. Subsequently, Everyone is Here is an album about family and kinship with the Finn's producing some of the best and most moving songs of their career. Songs like "Homesick", "Disembodied Voices" and "Nothing Wrong With You" refer back to the brother's relationship, their upbringing and the closeness of family.

A night of classic songs, Neil and Tim Finn play The Olympia Theatre on the 20^th of June.
