The legendary pop/ska outfit Madness play two intimate shows in Dublin this June. Expect hits such as "Baggy Trousers", "Our House" and "It Must Be Love" over two special nights of Nutty boy fun. Madness spent a record 214
weeks in the singles chart in the UK in the '80s and have lost none of their loose, loopy charm or potent musical chops in the passing years.

Madness was one of the most popular British bands of the early '80s and have remained a band held in many people's affections as well as being a major influence and landmark in British music.

Madness was formed in 1978 and comprised the musical talents of Graham "Suggs" McPherson, Chas Smash, Mike Barson, Chris Foreman, Lee Thompson, Mark Bedford and Dan Woodgate. In 1979 the band released their debut single "The Prince".

The band went onto release such classic British pop albums as Absolutely, Seven and The Rise And Fall. They were never out of the charts in the early '80s with hits like "Baggy Trousers", "House of Fun", "Our House" and the Labi Siffre's song, "It Must Be Love".

These two intimate shows in Tripod should be a great night of Nutty boy fun, so get your dancing feet down there and start skanking.
