Music at The Cobblestone
With great music (and even cakes & tea!) Back Room @ The Cobblestone is keeping the art of the intimate, cosy venue alive in Dublin city until the end of November!
The art of the intimate venue has been forgotten about in Dublin over the last decade with the live scene filled with new medium size venues and a number of famous venues like the Baggot Inn, the Beal Bocht and Mother Redcaps closing up.

The Cobblestone has long been a bastion of the intimate old style music venue. Originally the venue was upstairs and was home to some legendary nights of spellbinding music. Recently a backroom behind the bar downstairs was renovated and now the atmosphere is even more friendly and intimate than the old venue.

With Orla Keeshan on hand to book the acts, the Backroom is assured a steady stream of quality acts with everything from Irish Traditional to American Bluegrass to British Folk. The venue is a welcome home to formidable Irish songwriting talent like Sonny Condell and John Spillane and is the place where all the exciting new acts from the Irish trad scene come to.
