Now Dublin rock'n'roll troupe The Group have brought their own spin to The Band's magical farewell concert, by creating the ultimate tribute to are this sensational show! After performing to a packed-out houses at The Button Factory in August and October, The Group are bringing their magical night of music and nostlagia to The Sugar Club for ONE NIGHT ONLY on 21st November.  

This fantastic re-enactment of Martin Scorese's award-winning documentary The Last Waltz has already seen Band fans young and old pouring into The Button Factory to relive the buzz, excitement and stunning showmanship of the original concert - and, of course, hitting the dancefloor for some SERIOUS music appreciation - and its sure to do the same in the lush surrounds of the Sugar club this November.

Scorese's fantastic film captured the friendships, the harmonies, the hijinks, and the wear and tear that added up to The Band's final gig. But it also showed some of the finest performances in modern music history, as special guest stars (including Emmy Lou Harris, Ronnie "The Hawk" Hawkins, Joni Mitchell and Neil Diamond) took to the stage to say goodbye to the Canadian rock giants.

And, as always, this brilliant tribute night not only star The Group themselves as The Band (naturally!), but also features a whole host of special musical guest-stars from the Dublin music scene! The night promises to be a real treat for fans of The Band - and anyone else who loves good-old fashioned great music.
