The man behind this summer's smash-hit/utter travesty "All Summer Long" comes to Dublin on 29th November for ONE NIGHT ONLY. Um, good?
KID ROCK
Venue: The Olympia Theatre, Dame Street
Date: 29th November
Time: 19.30
Tickets: €54.80
Kid Rock's a lot like marmite - you either love him, or the very thought of him makes you want to vomit all over your shoes.
Still, despite a sound that splits music-lovers into two VERY opposing camps, and a look that seems suspiciously close to that of New York City's legendary Naked Cowboy, there's no denying the Kid's star has been in rapid ascent since the release on 2007's Rock N Roll Jesus - his first album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
His summer hit single All Summer Long earned accolades aplenty from music fans on this side of the water - though it seems likely that for every copy of the single that made it to a CD shelf/iPod playlist, another dartboard somewhere ended up with Kid Rock's face across its bullseye!
But whether he really did get keep you bopping along all Irish "summer", or had you leaping for the across the room to throw your radio out the window everytime he came on-air, he'll be hitting the stage at the Olympia on 29th November for his second Irish appearance of the year.
Tickets are on sale online now, and from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide. Do with this information what you will - it's your choice.
