Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud is one of Dublin's finest restaurants and is part of the five-star Merrion Hotel.

You can enter at number 21 from the street or through the lobby of the hotel. True to the proprietor's heritage, the menu is French cuisine that utilises the best fresh produce that Ireland can provide. The food is absolutely top notch, as would be expected from head chef Guillaume Le Brun. The restaurant currently has two Michelin stars. The wine list is one of the most comprehensive and impressive in the country. The service is good, if a tad theatrical, but there's nothing wrong with putting on a bit of a show. Dress code is smart, so while you could get away with leaving the tie at home, be neat and tidy. This is an expensive place, so maybe it should be reserved for special occasions or to impress only the most important of clients or potential partners!
