Les Frères Jacques
Les Frères Jacques brings a touch of France to Dublin's Temple Bar.

Les Frères Jacques is located in Dublin's city centre, backing into Temple Bar on Dame Street but once you step into this Dublin restaurant, it is a truly French experience.

The green-papered walls are decorated with old prints of Paris and Deauville and the restaurant is entirely staffed by French natives.  There is fine china and fresh flowers laying the tables and the French waiters are dressed in white linen shirts and black bow ties. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and often there will be live piano music at the weekends.

The food is traditionally French with proprietor Jean-Jaques Callabet insisting on serving the freshest seafood available. Specialities such as lobster, fished right from the tank, and roasted and flambéed with Irish whiskey are on offer when in season. The A La Carte menu changes every season and the Table d'Hote menus change daily depending on the market supply.

The Table d'Hote lunch and dinner menu are popular options with a 3 course lunch costing €22 and a 4 course Table d'Hote dinner priced at €35. Featuring dishes such as grilled blue lobster and herb and garlic crushed lamb medallions with basil juices, Les Frères Jacques  is a delicious tasting experience. Desserts are equally as appetising including carpaccio of pineapple with a thyme syrup and a rum and coconut ice cream that is truly unforgettable.

Les Frères Jacques  is one of Dublin's best restaurants for French cuisine and Irish Seafood. Bon Appetit!
