After its successful inception last year Fizzfest returns to The Helix for a second year with a two-week programme of exciting events. Fizzfest will feature Theatre, Poetry, Music, Puppetry and Dance with a wide range of events that are imaginative, engaging and most of all great fun.

Fizzfest kicks off on Monday, the 11^th of October with Team Theatre's Fusion, a play about those changing teenage years for 5^th and 6^th Post Primary students. Then, the wonderful Road Dahl's tale of temper control magic medicine, George's Marvellous Medicine is performed by the Birmingham Stage Company. Dreams is a scientific fiction fantasy lost in a world of animation, prop sets, sounds and surprise for 4 to 10 year olds.

What Can I Do? is a wonderful story about how Mr. Moonbean and Mrs Sunbeam along with the help of the audience find the hidden talents of their 7 colourful rainbow-children. My Uncle Arly takes you on an absurdly comic journey into the imagination of one of Britain's favourite writes, Edward Lear. RTE and The Irish Time present Music in the Classroom where you can join in, sing along and get into the spirit of all things musical.

Pilot Theatre Companies present Lord Of The Flies, a terrifying thrilling and heart stopping production for post primary students and adult audiences. Fìbìn Puppets is a show by An Gabha agus a Ghasuir with Irish speaking puppets relating a brilliant story through live music, dance and drama. Fizzfest closes with Singing with the Feet – Reloaded, a spectacular display of music, dance and humour from a dynamic international cast of tip-top contemporary dancers, musicians and 'squirrels'.

Fun for all the Family, children and adults alike will love the wonderful array of events at Fizzfest.
