Founded in 2006 by a group of like-minded artist and designer friends, Monster Truck Gallery and Studios on Francis Street has one very simple aim - to create a new, independent space for where artists can experiment and display their work.
These days, the gallery has established itself as one of the most talked about art spaces in Dublin - and rightly so! Not only does the venue provide an exciting and creative atmosphere for artists to meet and work, but it's fantastic programme of one-week exhibitions mixed with longer, curated projects and artist initiated shows has created a brilliantly fresh forum where artists can sell their work and the public can enjoy a constantly changing aray of innovative pieces from emerging talents.
And, of course, it's Thursday Night Launches are now legendary around Dublin as a place to congregate and share in the infectious enthusiasm of the crowd!
If you can't make it to the gallery you can also buy artwork direct from the Monstertruck Website, but you really should try to pop in and check out this fantastic space for yourself - the artistic energy is so contagious it'll have you raring to create something of your own, even if that just means you end up doodling stick men all evening!
