Parking in Dublin during the Christmas period can prove quite difficult at times. Driving around trying to find a car park with free spaces can take some time. Motorists can now find out easily how many spaces are available in Dublin city centre by way of text.
Dublin City Council have just introduced a simple and efficient way for motorists to find parking spaces quickly. This new service is called the Park Text service. This service is simple to use and will provide you with up-to-date information on the amount of carparking spaces available in the city centre.
Simply text "Park n" to 53030 to get the latest information on parking details for city centre car parks on the northside. Similarly text "Park s" to 53030 to receive the availability in Dublin's city centre on the southside. You will receive a response immediately detailing the available capacity in city centre car parks in a designated area.
Equally if you are aware of which car park you are planning to park in, you can simply text an abbreviated version of the car park to 53030. For example, if a motorist is looking to park at Abbey Street car park, simply text "Park abb" to 53030 to find out all the details concerning Abbey Street Car park. You will receive a response including the number of free parking spaces, the opening hours and the road directions for the car park.
