The Luas in Dublin
Two Lines now in operation on the Dublin Luas.

The Red Line  is now open for business. This Dublin route provides twenty-three different stops and the journey from Connolly Station to Tallaght is predicted to take forty-three minutes. In total there are now thirty-six fully accessible stops on the Red and Green Line. Each stop has been designed to create utmost comfort and convenience for Dublin Luas passengers. The low platforms increase accessibility for passengers with buggies and prams and for wheelchair and visually impaired passengers. Shelters with seating can be used and ticket vending machines and public information displays are available. The Green Line runs from St. Stephens Green to Sandyford and the entire journey lasts approximately twenty-two minutes.

Luas have set up the convenient Park & Ride for it's passengers along both Luas routes. Car parking is available at Balally, Stillorgan and Sandyford on the Green Line and at the  Red Cow and Tallaght on the Red Line. Sandyford has over 100 spaces for cars, Stillorgan over 300 and Balally over 400. There is also space for cycles at Sandyford and Stillorgan.

The cost for one day's parking is €4, and €2 for half a day. These car parks are for Luas passengers travelling that day. If you do not have a Luas ticket valid for travel on the day you park you will have to pay an additional charge when you leave the car park.

Getting into Dublin has never been easier. For more information on the Luas, log onto the Luas website.
