Dublin's much improved transport system is even more efficient this Christmas. Dublin Bus, DART and LUAS have all extended services so that shoppers and late-night revellers alike can travel from Dublin city centre with ease.

Special late night DART trains will be in operation from Friday, 9th December. These late DARTs will run until 12.30 am from Pearse Station to all stations to Howth except Tara Station. On the southside the DART will run until 12.30am from Connolly serving all stations to Bray except Tara and Grand Canal Dock Station.  All late DARTs will operate on 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 22nd and 23rd of December.

Dublin Bus are extending the Nitelink Service during the Christmas period. From 28th November until 7th January the nitelinks will run nightly. From Sunday until Thursday up until 15th December, nitelinks will run at 12.30am and 2.00am. There will be a further increase of services from Thursday, 15th December until New Years Eve. All 24 Nitelink routes will be in service from 12.30am-4.30am.

Dublin's newest form of transport, the LUAS will also extend their service. The NightLuas will run from 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 30th and 31st. Tickets cost €4 and the NightLuas will run on both Red and Green lines every half hour until 3am.
