New Design market running in Temple Bar every Sunday!
Dublin's Cultural Quarter exciting new Craft market has proved very popular with Dublin shoppers. Every Sunday from 12pm until 6pm, shoppers can enjoy a Craft and Furniture Market in Meeting House Square. Irish and International artists will showcase their designs and craft pieces. A huge variety of handmade furniture and original craft will be available with 35 stalls bearing the best in innovative design.
Karen Walshe, a founder of Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF) felt there was an opening in the Dublin market for more high quality craft products at affordable prices. Through Karen's work with DEAF and Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures, she is in contact with many up-and-coming as well as established artists who now contribute to the markets.
Temple Bar already offers a Food Market at the Meeting House Square every Sunday. A Book Market runs in the Temple Bar Square each Saturday aswell as Cows Lane Fashion and Design Market at the Temple Bar's old city. This new Dublin market is the perfect addition to complement this fantastic collection of markets running in Temple Bar.
