Appleby's flagship store has remained in the same location for it's entire existence which is over fifty years. During the years, Appleby's has expanded to the present day multi-level full service store in Johnson's Court, off Grafton Street.

Appleby's have continued to manufacture jewellery, a practice which began in the early forties and now complement the traditional craft skills with state of the art technology. They were one of the first workshops to introduce laser technology into jewellery manufacture.

The training programme is respected throughout the industry and our master gold and platinum smiths have all enjoyed the benefit of top quality international training. A significant portion of the jewellery on sale is custom made, allowing the customers individual tastes to be heard. The jewellery is handcrafted in the Dublin workshops so advice can be given to the customer regarding ideas and design.

A huge variety of coloured gemstones are on sale; intense rich blue Sapphires and vibrant red Rubies from South East Asia and extraordinary vivid green emeralds from South America. Gold comes in different standards of fineness (the percentage content of fine gold differs depending on the customers budget).

It's important to remember a diamond is for all occasions! Appleby's certainly supplies a select choice of diamonds in the form of eternity rings and engagement rings and then the plain old diamond rings!
