Urban Wax was the brainchild of two colleagues working in the beauty industry in Dublin. Four and a half years later, Urban Wax are settled in larger Dublin city centre premises and provide premier services in waxing.

Urban Wax was the first ever waxing clinic in Ireland. The salon itself is very inviting with a comfortable waiting room with a flat screen tv and music playing. Flat Screen TV's are a prominent feature at Urban Wax, you will find them in each treatment room. It makes quite a nice distraction under the circumstances!

As someone who has always been terrified of waxing, I was surprised and relieved to undergo a relatively painfree treatment! The service is excellent with special attention given to ensure the process is as pain-free as possible. Following the brief and altogether bearable treatment, you are given advice on aftercare.

Urban Wax also sells all the best waxing products available. There's even a cream called Relax and Wax- No Scream Cream, that's a topical anaesthetic you apply 35-45 minutes before appointment so that you are numb for the entire experience.

Urban Wax offers cream for ingrown hairs, tea tree lotion and exfoliation. Every waxing treatment imaginable is on offer and the most popular treatment is the Brazilian and Hollywood bikini wax treatments. There are even a set of treatments called "Urban Outrageous" which are specialised bikini waxes. A very popular choice at the moment  is to apply attractive Swarovski crystals to the Bikini Line for those special occasions!!!

Urban Wax is a unisex salon and over 20% of the clientele are men. There is a wide selection of "Escape From the Ape" treatments and an "Eyebrow tidy" or "Reshape" are also available to men.
