The Design Centre was founded over 20 years ago. It became a forum for up and coming and established designers to showcase their clothing. The concept proved a great success and the shop became a must-visit in Dublin.

The Design Centre has undergone a few changes to bring Dublin the finest fashion for it's Spring/Summer 2004 collection. The New look Design Centre includes funky and casual young clothing from Irish designers and this year there will also be designs from international fashion houses available.

The Spring/Summer 2004 collection is contemporary and colourful.
Stunning hand-painted pieces from Therese Mc Keone are available and gold beaded lace tops and gold embroidered matching lace skirt designed by Missotten Strijbol and exclusive to the Design Centre. Other exclusive pieces include a Chinese silk waistcoat and assymetric silk appliqued dress by Man Wing .

Evening and event wear is still an important element of the Design Centre with diva gowns by Synan O'Mahony, elegant kimono style suits by Louise Kennedy and efferevescent flights of fancy by Jenny Packham.

Most of the garments in the Design Centre for this seasons collection are one-offs making shopping in the Powerscourt Shopping Centre all that more special!
