Dalkey Hill
Dalkey Hill was where the granite for building Dun Laoghaire Harbour was quarried.

On the crown of the hill is an old Napoleonic-era semaphore tower. The painting represents the 238 steps of the “Cats Ladder” which connects Vico Road to Dalkey Hill and Killiney Hill.
