The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) was founded in 1884 and is now Ireland's largest sporting and cultural organisation.
The site of the museum, Croke Park, is one of the biggest and most modern football stadia in Europe. The museum itself looks at the birth and growth of the GAA and its unique role in the national movement and cultural revival of Ireland. Employing touchdown technology and specially designed interactives.
