USA Ambassador's Residence
In 1927 the American Ambassador took up residence in the former Phoenix Park home of the British Government's Chief Secretary to Ireland.

The house, located in Phoenix Park was built by Sir John Blaquiere, Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant in 1776 and was used by the Chief Secretary from 1782 until 1921.
