The Tea Room in the Clarence Hotel is the ideal spot for Afternoon Tea and a wonderful lunch.
The Clarence Hotel is most famous for being owned by U2 and frequented by celebrities being entertained there by the boys themselves. Chef Antony Ely serves up wonderful traditional dishes with a continental twist. The service is a well-oiled machine under the watchful eye of Nick Meunier.
The Tea Room occupies a long, spacious room with double-height windows facing south which guarantee a lot of natural light from Essex Street.
A large lunch menu is on offer and customers can tuck into some expertly prepared food at their leisure in sophisticated surroundings. A Three course meal can be enjoyed for €30 and two courses at lunch are priced at €26.
Sunday Lunch at the Tea Room is a marvellous affair. Diners can enjoy a three course meal for €34.50 and a Children's Menu is also available.
The Tea Room Dinner Party Menu offers a small choice of delectable dishes. Starters include mouthwatering dishes such as Risotto Nero in a Saute of Baby Squid and Gremolata. Mains and desserts are equally as appetising with particular attention given to presentation.
For a thoroughly enjoyable and sumptuous afternoon, visit the Tea Room at the Clarence Hotel.
