The Bank
This Dublin pub serves an array of meals and snacks in fine Victorian surroundings.

The Bank is situated on Dame Street and is almost 110 years old. This newly opened Dublin pub is an impressive example of late Victorian architecture. A split-level bar with a high vaulted ceiling and intricate plaster work decorating stained glass skylights. The marble pillars and mosaic floor are a perfect finish to the luxurious décor.

Food is served from 10am right through until 10pm. Breakfast can be enjoyed and the lunch menu operates from midday. Main dinner meals are offered as Entrees and are also available. Meat-lovers can tuck into a mouth-watering 10oz Sirloin Steak or an 8oz Fillet Steak, both are cooked to order and served with champ mash, carmelised onions and roasted tomatoes. The Thai Green Chicken Curry is a popular favourite at the Bank and is served on Basmati rice. The Bank's Entree menu also offers Lamb, Fish and vegetable dishes. Appetising entrees start at €10.50 and increase up to €23.00.

Dublin diners in search of a tasty lunch should sample from an array of Quick dishes served up by the Bank. These wholesome snacks include delicious sandwiches, bagels and salads as well as the traditional pub dish, Sausage and Mash. The Quick Dishes range in price from €8-€11. And for those concerned with sampling light snacks, the Bank serves a small selection of Appetizers that include soup, salad, bruschetta and Irish Oak Smoked Salmon on Scallion and Potato Fritter. Full range of teas and coffees are available.

The Bank is one of the very many excellent Dublin pubs that provide a casual alternative to eating in a Dublin restaurant.
