The Shack Restaurant is set in the heart of Dublin's cultural district;
Temple Bar, on East Essex Street which is one block west of Temple
Bar square.

The Shack is small suited to intimate dining or a small group of friends. The stylish velvet covered banquet seating, plush high back chairs, panelled walls and polished wooden floors and open fire create a very comfortable and fashionable setting.

The A La Carte menu has a very impressive and varied list of Pastas, Vegetarian, Chicken, Traditional Irish, Seafood, Pork, Beef and Lamb Dishes. The Lunch Menu is less detailed but contains some very appetising Light Meals, a variety of Brunch and Main Meal dishes. The wine list is fairly comprehensive, offering a decent choice of old and new world wines. Three types of Champagne and the very popular Tiger Beer are also available.

Shack Restaurant was awarded the Outstanding Food and Service 2003 by the Leading Restaurants Awards. This is a huge achievement as the judges requirements to win this award include high standards, quality food, excellent atmosphere and service. 

This Dublin restaurant serves excellent food but the outstanding characteristic about the Shack Restaurant is the superb service. The staff may be busy but will cater for every diners needs, ensuring drinks and any special requests are seen too.
