Ukiyo
Korean and Japanese Restaurant with Karoke and a Supper Club.
Ukiyo is a great fun restaurant to visit with a group of friends. This new Dublin restaurant is very relaxed with Asian décor and pleasant staff. Ukiyo serves modern Asian cuisine influenced by Japan and Korea. The food is exquisitely presented and can be accompanied by an excellent selection of sake and wine.
This Dublin restaurant also provides Karoke rooms downstairs. Ukiyo currently has 30,000 songs in English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Philipino and Italian. The music available is updated regularly. Ukiyo are happy to take suggestions of songs and try to source them. The Karoke room is rented on a hourly rate of €25 and seven people can be accommodated.
This fun Dublin restaurant opens for lunch from 12 to 5pm from Monday-Saturday. Diners can enjoy a delicious selection of Korean specialities and homemade cookies and cakes. These mouth-watering snacks range in price from €5-€8. Ukiyo opens for dinner seven days a week and provides a very interesting Asian menu. There's no distinction between Starters and Main courses so it's easy to share dishes and experiment with lots of exotic flavours.
During the weekends, Ukiyo transforms from a regular Dublin restaurant into a Supper Club. From Thursday until Sunday, Ukiyo serves until 2.30am with music provided by some of Dublin's best djs playing an eclectic mix of jazz, soul, lounge and funk.
This Dublin restaurant offers a fantastic range of Sake sourced entirely from Japan and Korea. There is also an extensive wine list available. The theme is 'forgotten classics' and you will find many bottles from unusual wine regions available.
For those who enjoy Asian food, karoke or late-night dining, visit the great fun restaurant Ukiyo in Dublin's city centre.
