Dublin's newest fish restaurant !
Mackerel is located in the Bewley's building and offers an array of choice fish served up with a distinctive Irish flavour. This new Dublin restaurant is perfectly situated in the famous and longstanding Bewley's on Grafton Street.
Mackerel offers an extensive menu of affordable fish plus a main menu that's slightly more upmarket. Diners can enjoy innovative flavours alongside some classical and traditional Fish dishes.
The Starters are reasonably priced and include an impressive selection of fish serving everything from Pacific Oysters, Mussels, Eden Smokies to Seafood Chowder and Tuna Carapaccio. Most of the starters are priced at under €10.
The main menu includes delights such as Roast whole sea bream with roast red pepper & mango & coriander sauce (€18) and Seared blue fin tuna with black eyed peas & soy ginger dressing (€22).
Desserts include mouthwatering dishes such as Strawberries, Prosecco & Sorbet €8.00 and Yoghurt & Cardamon Cream €6.00. The atmosphere at Mackerel is relaxed and nostalgic with beautiful old Dublin furnishings and stained glass windows to enjoy.
Mackerel's provides an extensive wine-list, with a decent number of House Whites, Reds and Roses. In addition there is an impressive selection of wines from across the globe from Portugal to Australia.
This new Dublin restaurant has a seating capacity of 50 and accepts bookings for corporate or private events.
