Dublin City Libraries offer an exciting and educational range of activities for kids in Dublin. Many of the Dublin libraries hold Story time for young kids, Art classes can be enjoyed and even a Happy Hour for Toddlers is on offer at some of Dublin city Libraries. Book Clubs and Chess Clubs are also provided at some Dublin Libraries.
Below is a small list compiled by dublinks.com of some of the top events for kids in libraries in Dublin.

At Ballyfermot Library, it's Story time for Kids aged 3-7 on Thursdays at 3pm. There's an Art Class for Kids over 6 years old, at 10.30am on Saturdays.

At Ballymun Library, there's an Art Class at 4.00pm every Saturday. A Junior Chess Club for kids is available on Mondays between 4-5pm and a Junior Book Club takes place on Tuesday between 4-5pm. There's also a Story time for Toddlers every Thursday between 11-11.30am.

At Cabra Library, there's a "Grownups and Toddlers Group" Happy Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10.30am to 11.30am.

At Charleville Mall Library, there is story-telling session every Tuesday for Pre-School children at 11am.

At Coolock Library, there's a Magic Wardrobe Book Club on the first Thursday of every month from 3.30-4.30pm. On Thursdays at 10.15, it's Happy Hour for toddlers aged 3-5 years.

Dolphin's Barn Library hosts a “Happy time” for a Parent and Toddler Group every Tuesday 11am-12pm.

At Finglas Library, It's also Story time for the under 6s on Tuesdays at 11.30am. 

At the Pembroke Library, there's an Art Class for 6-12 year olds on Tuesdays at 6pm.

At Rathmines Library, there's a Happy time Toddler group every Thursday at 10.30am-12.00pm.

At Inchicore Library, a Kiddies Art Class suitable for youngsters between 6-12 years takes place every Thursday at 3.30pm.

And finally at Pearse Street Library, in the Dublin's city centre, there are Children's Storytelling sessions for pre-school kids every Tuesday at 11am.
