ENFO is an environmental centre located on Andrew's Street in Dublin's city centre. The aim of ENFO is to promote environmental awareness and sustainable development. ENFO provides an excellent Kids Club that is an informative service for young children and at the same time lots of fun.
The Children's Corner at ENFO offers lots of games including floor games and puzzles and colouring pictures that educate young children about a wide range of environmental topics. There's even a video and a pc with interactive games to ensure that kids enjoy learning about the environment. Kids can potter through a wide range of wildlife photographs and information on Ireland's marine animals. ENFO also provide a free photocopying service so kids can make copies of pictures they have coloured.
Teenagers can make use of all the excellent resources for school projects. There's a reference library with books, journals, reports and databases. An internet free service is provided to study environmental issues in greater depth. A good selection of resources are available including a video lending service, an exhibition area, an information desk and lots more.
ENFO provides a drop-in service from 10am-5pm Monday- Saturday and is an ideal place for the kids to spend an enjoyable and educational few hours in Dublin.
